Ryan Fairweather's creative career kicked off in 2005 where he co-founded a glassblowing studio and ran it for 15 years in Calgary, AB. The studio created work for international exhibition in galleries and museums, as well as production lines for retail. Ryan has been awarded the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Award, Award for Artistic Excellence, and Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40 with his photo on the front cover. Ryan's work has also been showcased in design books, magazines, and newspapers and has made numerous appearances on tv and radio discussing his practice. With the arrival of covid and a daughter, he pivoted to tech to secure a more stable career path where he now works as a product designer, manager, and in branding.
